Great skillet.
I purchased this to make a deep dish pizza. It works great for that. It also is great for cooking large quantities of food (eg. fried potatoes). I love this skillet.

Excellent for the grill
Works great on our Kamado Joe! Not having a long handle. Just make sure your have good gloves to take it off the heat.

Good skillet
Good skillet nice and big doesn't fit in my oven (my fault) fits on my stove top nicely perfect to make pizza in as well.

I wouldn't call it "Smooth" but it gets the job done.
Large and Cast Iron but it's not "Smooth" . That being said it preforms like cast iron and id consider it a decent purchase.
