depending on you needs this should cover the skill level of most karaoke singers. I would say it is 85% as good as a Shure mic if you get a good signal. I really recommend this mic for the money.

They work but not for long
They last about a year then die they only used like 3 times a week for 30 mins each

Not durable
I had to buy this microphone to replace three one that broke for my set of 6. So far i have had to replace all six. They all break in the same place, the battery compartment and the cover. Plus the cover for the battery compartment does not stay on very well. I have had to put plumber's tape so that it can stay on.I wouldn't have bought it again, except that i already have the reciever and it was cheaper than replacing everything.
