Q: Recommendations to even out the seat? When I assembled this the seat portion is noticeably higher than the other side.

It might be a good idea to send it back. I noticed that if I don't sit exactly in the middle it will look a bit unlevel, but when I sit exactly in the middle it evens out but if I had it to do over again, I'd just return it right away as I found this stool extremely dangerous. I use it in a narrow kitchen; however, the wheels have slipped out from under me and I've fallen back and luckily not hurt too badly. I only keep it because the seat is comfortable, but use it with caution always. I'm 73 years old.

Q: How do you lower the seat?

There should be a lever up under the seat that you pull up. You should be sitting on the seat when you pull this lever, pressure from your weight should lower it.

Q: Would these wheels roll on a moderately plush carpet?

This stool rolls easily over the runner carpet in my kitchen.
