It's a shower chair, it allows you to sit on it while showering. That's what it's designed to do. It does it well.The only thing I would prefer a more positive latch on the sliding arm.Otherwise it's a very good product.

As a caregiver for elderly, this is my favorite for average to larger bodies. For big bodies you want the big sturdy wheels and seat and sturdy back that this chair has.
