Great storm door handle replacement
This replacement door handle came with several size screws and latch plates. It was easy to find the appropriate size screws, but getting the spindle cut to the size that you need for your specific door is a bit of a challenge. As another reviewer wrote, it is best to cut the spindle down one section at a time until you get the size that works. I am an 80 year old retired librarian with very few tools (but I do have two pliers). If I can do this repair, I am sure all the rest of you will find it a breeze. It took me about an hour, because of all the trial and error with the spindle. The quality of the handle is good. I am unlikely to ever lock the screen door, but that option is available as part of the handle. There is also a feature that prevents you from accidently being locked out. The gray color matches our gray deck. I am really proud of myself for getting the repair done by myself.

Get what ya pay for
Received it July, 30 and it's now Oct,5 and it's hanging up! Worked perfect for a while though! Might be something simple fixed but I shouldn't have to work on it

Perfect fit replacement
The handle was a nice matte finish in a grey color. Quality was good and it fit together well. I like the fact that it came with various size screws and strike plates (including shims) to make it adjustable for your specific door. Installation was quite easy with the given instructions. Like others have said, the directions for determining the length of the spindle (rod that activates the mechanism) results in the spindle being a bit too long, I ended up cutting it one notch shorter than originally indicated and it worked fine. I found it easy to cut with a pair of side cutters (linesman's pliers). I would suggest you hold the assembly together and test the length of the spindle before screwing everything together, and if it is too long, shorten it one notch at a time so as not to get it too short.

Easy install. 20 minutes. I am lucky enough to have a vice which I used to hold the metal push rod and used a hack saw to cut the rod to length. I left it longer and did 3 cuts to ensure a flush fit. You can always cut shorter again.
