87600 Hot Blade Decal Remover (110 Volt)

My wife wanted a way to remove labels from empty wine bottles so I bought her this. It works good on some labels so we were happy with the tool in general. We used it on two different days in the 6 weeks we've owned it, went to use it again today and it won't heat up. I thought maybe I could buy a new element but it appears to be riveted together. I'll drill out the rivet and see if I can fix it but for now I'm going to order another one and hope it lasts longer.

I purchased this item to remove roofing tape adhesive from metal surfaces. Item worked well for 20min then unexpectedly the corner of the razor blade snapped. This caused a flash of light and an electrical short in the iron. The iron does not heat up anymore. The screw for interchanging tips kept backing out during the short time I was scraping. I'm disappointed this tool broke so easily. I hope to move the tip to another iron.

This is a medieval torture device. Bought to remove vinyl stickers from fleet vehicles. Ended up removing the skin off my fingers. By no means is it an effective replacement for a heat gun and putty knife

Broke after 30 minutes of use, it no longer heats up. The head part that holds the blade wobbles a lot.Would not recommend .

Works well but must be careful because the handle is short and the metal gets extremely hot.

I used this to strip vinyl lettering off of acrylic sign panels

It did a fantastic Job, we bought two and gave one to a friend and he loves it also,We removed a large area of Decal from our Motorhome and it looks great.

Makes pulling the decals off very easy.
