It does get pretty loud but, not much bass sound. It kind of snares out and vibrates instead of the smooth sound of the bass. If you get what I’m saying.. I have a different way of explaining things.

Sound quality is great

Ordered this speaker before I read the reviews. Shame on me. You can't return it and it sounds like garbage. Also is no even a little loud. For the size it should be really loud. But. NOT.

This is the third wax QFX speaker I’ve owned in the last 3 years. None of them last. I just bought this one as a Christmas gift for my husband and a week later and I’m already having problems with it. It won’t stay connected even when I’m sitting a foot away from it. Contacted Amazon to return or replace the item and I have to wait 24-48 hours for them to contact me and let me know my options…. Update I had this item for 7 days and it’s not working anymore. Amazons policy states that if you receive a defective item you can return it. They just reached out to me and the won’t let me return the item for a refund. They said I have to reach out to the manufacturer for a refund. Please don’t buy this item. I’ll also be cancelling my Amazon prime account. ***UPDATE. I contacted the manufacturer about getting a replacement product and after finally getting in contact with them and yes it was hard getting a response. The instructed me to reset the speaker which I did and it still didn’t fix the problem. They’re still not willing to send a replacement item. Instead they told me they can send me parts to replace the display board to see if that works which I’m absolutely not gonna do on a brand new speaker that’s I just bought. I shouldn’t have to. I guess I’ll just take the loss All in all my advice would be to not waste your money on this item. If there is a defect you won’t get a refund or replacement from Amazon or the manufacturer. You’ll just lose money.

Great speaker, no complaints, use it for parties and electronic instruments. The light show is very good, much better than other speakers I've owned. Will be getting a second one soon for stereo sound.FYI: This is for the people complaining about the bass and applies to all party speakers. Be aware this is a "Speaker", not a "Sub Woofer". The bass is nice and punchy, but not booming like you get from a sub woofer. If you want boom add an external sub woofer.

I dislike that it wasn’t as loud as I thought. The range is horrible. And need to keep it charged as it does not hold long enough
