Nice little speakers
Mounted the speakers in my NB Miata wind blocker assembly. Just needed some sound behind my head and they are doing their job…marine rated was also a plus..

Impressive sound for a 4" speaker
I'm very impressed, I just wanted to install a few cheap speakers to listen to podcasts/maybe light music but these far outshined my expectations. I'm not saying it's a complete 'system' but these sound really good, decent bass, and they output insane volume for the size. I'm very impressed.

It's poke audio
They're pretty good speakers, but you need to put a bass choke on them, or else you're going to blow them up because they can't handle the bass.

Excellent Sound as Always from Polk Audio
I used these to replace the 3.5 inch speakers in the rear pillars of my 2018 Ford Explorer. I wound up cutting the plastic basket off of the factory speakers, then trimming and sanding down the plastic gasket of the 3.5 inch to mount these in the factory space. They sound excellent, being fed by an amp that puts out about 75 watts to each speaker. The fit was very tight, but I wanted to keep with Polk Audio since I have swapped out all of the door speakers and tweeters with Polk already. Polk Audio does not currently make a 3.5 inch speaker so I took my chances with these and I made it work out.

Full Balanced Sound
Using these speakers as an upgrade in a Spark 40 desktop guitar amplifier. Definite improvement in balancing out the audio spectrum versus the stock speaker performance. Perfect fitment and easy to install. Includes all wiring and mounting accessories needed for a variety of applications. Familiar with Polk products for a number of years, trust their build quality and faithful musical reproduction. Pricing represents an unbeatable value - an additional positive note for choosing these. The Polk DB402 DB+ speakers are certainly another fine model of Polk's exemplary offerings!

Had to Return
I was hoping to replace my 4" Kickers with these speakers but the screw holes didn't align and I didn't want to drill new holes in the fiber glass. Speakers also don't come with a gasket to put behind the speakers to create a better seal when fixing.I don't know how they sound performance wise. I didn't hook them up.
