Incredibly low quality.
Incredibly low quality. Tried these on alongside a pair of namebrand ones from a surf shop and submerged both hands in a cold bucket of water. Both are glued blind stitched. These don't look like the other glued/blind stitched stuff I own. I can see the stitches from the inside. On other items that are glued/blindstitched that I own, I can't - stitches are covered with glue. Don't know whether too little glue was used, or the stitch is incorrect, or what. If I can see the stitches, then the water can cycle through with greater ease, chilling me. The side by side comparison test proved that. I could literally feel cold water penetrating these gloves as I moved my fingers, the act thing that glued blind stitched construction is supposed to prevent. Didn't feel cold water penetrating with the competitor. Don't see much of a point of wearing these. If you think they're great, you don't know what you're missing out on. Am returning.

Perfect for surfing at Oregon coast
I got a pair in black, XS size, 3mm and they're perfect for my small hands (it's often hard to find stuff small enough for me and I usually have to buy kids' sizes for gloves and shoes)! The measurements given in the picture worked well for determining if they would fit. These gloves have worked well to keep my hands not-freezing, even after being in the water for 2-3 hours. These gloves are also softer and less stiff than my old pair. After buying this pair, I was thinking of also buying them in the "kevla" version, since sometimes we go spearfishing and the rocks make holes in neoprene very easily (that's what happened to my old pair of gloves)

Don't think these are waterproof!
Well I work at a detail shop year round and thought these were waterproof and would keep hands warm In winter while outside washing car's,the don't!They hold water and once wet and cold they stay that way! Also if you want to use your hands still you definitely want the 3mm instead of the 5mm! Depending on what you need them for they could be awesome just wasn't right for my need!

Perfect for wake surfing
I got the 4mm. They are very thick. Perfect for wake surfing because you don't need to hold the rope for long, but if you are waterskiing you might want the thinner ones. They keep my hands warm in 50 degree water. They are not meant to be waterproof. Like a wetsuit, they allow water in and keep that water warm by insulating your hands. Your body heat keeps the water in the glove warm.
