I plan on revising this review as I go along. First, the unit is impressive. It has the appearance and feel of quality.Second, there are no installation instructions included. Save or print out the picture above that has wires because as far the one I received, there are no wiring diagrams, or installation instructions included. There is a small pamphlet that lists the buttons and their names for the monitor and the remote and also states the specifications but nothing else. I'll install it this weekend and revise the review here. It appears straight forward and running the cable from the rear of the dump truck (83 Dodge W350) to the cab will be the only small challenge hopefully. I have a switch mounted in the cab already that turns on the back up lights in addition to the reverse transmission switch . This will or should give me the camera whenever I'm backing up or manually switch on the back up lights. The dump box is very wide and I'm having difficulty in seeing back there so this camera and monitor should give me a really great safety margin.Follow Up: The mounting for the camera and monitor are fairly adaptable to different positions. The picture is really rather clear and detailed. Pleased with that. Hooked up the red to positive switched hot wire, the black to chassis ground and the green to the switched on plus voltage for the reverse transmission switch. I also have an over ride in parallel for the back up lights and this switch in the cab worked out ideal, easy access to wiring. Either in reverse or with the switch on for back up lights the camera and monitor work. You have to use the V2 connector with auto switching on. The screen guide grid isn't really all that annoying and I haven't bothered to see if it can be removed. So, the Triggle wire is actually green, both the V1 and V2 inputs will work. You can switch between them if you have a second camera but with a Triggle switch hooked up only V2 will come on automatically. The system takes approximately 2 seconds to come up so there is some delay. I first hooked up the system in the truck and with both the camera and monitor in the cab and the cab heater fan on there was visible lines of noise but nothing serious. For the money, this is a good deal.

Very prompt delivery and very easy to install. Installation was very straightforward and came with plenty of wiring so was not short on wiring. Includes mounting bracket with an adhesive pad which mounts firmly in place. Great quality for the price
