My mother fell and hit her left eye recently and has lost all vision in that eye. Instead of getting upset and depressed she told us that now she had a great reason to wear a real pirate's patch and asked us to get her one. My husband found this one and she loved it. It fit perfectly.The strap is adjustable.The patch is made of very soft fabric and cups the eye so that when you blink your eyelashes won't brush against it. The skull and crossbones is very sharp looking-my 5 year old nephew loves grandma's new look and wants his own patch so I am going to buy a few more-that way my mom can give the young ones their own pirate eye patch because it is way cool and my mom loves it. Thank you for making a good product instead of junk.

It’s a soft material so it seems like it would be comfortable but if you want it to stay on your guy you have to have it tight enough to where it doesn’t slii off you head, And because there’s no real form to it it flattens down and compresses your eye and is very uncomfortable. There’s no actual form to it it’s just a soft material and then the strap squishes it to your eye.And unfortunately you cannot return it even if it’s unopened because I have two of them one I didn’t open after I realized how uncomfortable the first one was. So total waste of money

This patch looks cool and fun. It is soft and flat. The elastic does not fit well; it goes over my ear. The flat patch presses against the eye, so I would not wear this for very long, and not at all if you’re wearing eye makeup. Certainly don’t wear it all day.

I expected this to be some cheap Halloween patch but the design and quality is really good that I ended up using this as the patch when I had an eye procedure. I had purchased another patch that is marketed for "serious" long term patch for people who need to keep one eye protected, but that turned out to be so inferior to this one.

Got this for my MIL as a joke... she said this is better and softer than the one she got at the doctors. And its adjustable.

It's a fun patch, but a couple of caveats: number one, it is not convex enough to prevent pushing on the eye; number two, it was too small for me, an adult with a big head (or so I've been told). For a child, it would be great. I'm giving mine away.

I was a little thrown off when I noticed the discoloration on the white skull and bones part but when I opened the wrapping I smelled mold immediately. Non returnable, don’t waste your money.
