Great Quality for the Price
This is the 3rd pair of these I have purchased: the last 2 pairs each lasted about 12 months before a hinge broke, but I don't have any issue with that because of what they cost. I've purchased a fair few reading glasses from supermarkets and chemists over the last several years, and they are only a bit cheaper but the quality is terrible and about 6 weeks is all I ever get out of them before they break, if I use them daily. This latest pair is the same decent quality. I do notice that make things seem much clearer and sharper than the other glasses I've tried.

Comfortable fit, excellent clarity, but no anti-reflective coating
Having recently had cataract surgery to both eyes in my 30s, I can no longer read most fine-print without a magnifier, especially in low light. I chose these as I wanted spring hinges and adjustable nose pads, just like all my previous prescription glasses. When I had cataract surgery, I chose to have my distant and intermediate vision corrected (EDOF IOL), so just need basic reading glasses for close-up work. While I can read newspaper and magazine text without glasses, these make the text very sharp and much easier to read without stumbling on words in low light in the evenings. Usually I need a lamp or my phone's torch to read smaller print without glasses with indoor lighting. I also have no problem reading tiny print such as the digits on a nano SIM card that I cannot read without glasses. As with new prescription glasses, these took a while to get used to. So far I have not had to adjust the nose pads. From what I can tell, the arms are made of plastic, so it's unlikely the arms are adjustable by heat like the arms on prescription glasses. Then again, I find them comfortable enough over my ears without any adjustment. Although described as lightweight, they weigh 27g, a little more than my prescription reading glasses that weigh 23g. The glasses come with a hard case with a strong spring (take care closing) and a cleaning cloth. One downside to beware of is no anti-reflective coating on the lenses. As I mainly use these glasses to read in low light, this is usually not a problem. However, when I tried them during daylight, window reflections and brightly lit objects reflect clearly around the lenses. While this does not affect reading fine-print, the reflections would likely become distracting or irritating with longer reading periods such as reading a book or magazine on a sofa against a bright window.I chose the 2.5x magnification as I wanted something a little stronger than my prescription reading glasses for close-up work such as soldering small components on circuit boards. As a rough guide for anyone else that had cataract surgery, the nearest I can comfortably read standard print is about 50cm from my face without glasses, the same with my PC monitor. With these 2.5x reading glasses, I can read the same text from about 25cm to 45cm. Any closer or further out and text is out of focus.

So far, so good... for reading glasses.
Have been buying reading glasses on and off for years, given my prescription ones broke (years of usage).Sadly it's been a hit and miss with online reading glasses, so usually, I do go to a local pharmacy and buy a pair as they seem to be more stable and last a few years before something goes wrong. Last reading glasses I bought lasted about 3-4 years. As for online purchases usually the glasses end up lasting 1 day, if lucky. Deciding how ever to buy these after reading very decent reviews, they arrived a day later and I'm writing this review a few days later after wearing them, trying to give them the chance of lasting a few days... So far they've been pretty sturdy and stable, and seem to be a stable build for a pair of glasses. They also come with a nice hardy case (with a strong spring close!) and a cleaning cloth. If they don't fall to pieces, they're definitely going to be my main reading glasses and I'll buy a second pair but for now, given my bad past experiences with reading glasses online, these as good as they are right now are on trial.I will be updating this review if I find fault with them or if they break due to being poorly made, but so far, so good. 5/5 for the price and quality. I will also update this if they don't break to recommend them more.UPDATE one week later:So after one week of wearing these glasses have held up well for the price and quality seems stable, so I'll say these are worth the purchase if you want a pair of decent reading glasses. I will say how ever the nosepads could do with being a little more tighter to help them stay on your nose instead of slipping down it which can get annoying.

Effective, Good value and Robust
I keep buying these to have around the house because I lose them or break them.Don't get me wrong, they are incredibly tough, but if you keep standing on them or scratching them up anything will wear out.Anyway, I like them and currently have three pairs.

No blue light protection
Not as good quality as I'd hope for the price, seem similar to the multipacks you get 5 for £10 here. Hilariously it came with a blue light flash torch and a piece of card that is blue light sensitive (shows a purple blotch when hit by the blue light). The instructions say to shine the light on the card with and without the glasses in the way. I can say it makes absolutely no difference to the detector card!!Also they do not come with the case pictured. I really wanted a nice hard case. These come with just a piece of zipped felt wrap around.

Reading glasses
These are ok, after I bought my first pair of reading glasses from opticians for £300 and lost them within a month I vowed never to waste money on them again. These are great value, and great lens quality. They don't feel very sturdy but they are more comfortable on the bridge of my huge roman nose than some of the other cheap off-the-shelf ones I've bought from supermarkets... I'd buy these again.
