A high quality product delivered speedily, thank you
Used For artwork practice, only just beginning to explore their uses. They are a quality product, ( hence 4 stars on value) but at a good price for what they are. The brush tips and variety of possible strokes lovely.Pigments are strong and can be spread with water, but use the right brush, a soft watetcolour brush may not move the pigment easily if it has begun to dry, whereas an acrylic brush will. Watercolour paper a big advantage. , depending on the results you want. The temptation is to buy more of these colours, though I have a good stock of art supplies already!

Still going strong 6 months on
Bought this set of 12 watercolour pens after reading reviews. My daughter has used them almost daily for her coursework at school and to unwind. They're absolutely brilliant. Colours are strong and vibrant, loads of pigment. Do not bleed onto the next page, even when using in her exercise books for school. I'm amazed these turned out to be such a fab set.

Good quality
Bought the basic pack and landscape, not realising there are quite a few duplicates, good quality and happy with performance, but would have been better buying individually for the second pack.I’d like to see a watercolour skin tone pack like the pro markers

TRANSFORMED MY WAY of PAINTING SO MUCH I BOUGHT 6 MORE
These are fantastic watercolour markers. They have transformed my way of painting so much that I now create beautiful floral works as well as great detailed works that I cannot achieve using my sable brushes. These pens are also perfect for plien air and great sketch work. The colours and textures are just the same as the pans and tubes and give the same great coverage, depth and mix with other colours and creating more colours. You can also add water to the paper to mix the colours or I rub the nibs together which creates great colours. I am so delighted with the these pack of 12 pens I bought a further 6 individual colours and will be buying more until I have ‘the’ full range. These pens last for a long time and have not dried. I love them.

Good markers but bad batch
I ordered a set of 12 markers after doing some research and they seemed fantastic. When the item arrived they didn't blend and looked like I drew lines on my paper with a permanent marker. After trying several watercolour papers, from cheap ones to expensive ones and even copy paper the result tested the same. I contacted Winsor and Newton and they explained that it could have been a bad batch sitting in Amazon. So I ordered another set, and I experienced the same. After talks with Amazon they are going to investigate the issue and i'll go to my local art shop to buy this product.

Great fun & a useful tool in your watercolour box
These are terrific. I haven't used them before, but these + a wet brush make creating gradients and shade really easy. These would be quite a good way to teach children how to start to use watercolour/move color around with a brush. The pigmentation is dense and the selection of colours well thought out. I've attached a very quick little test painting I did.

They're OK
I purchased one of these pens from another supplier mainly to sign my paintings with as I am not great at signing with a brush. I thought it would be nice to buy a set to use in my sketchbook or for fine detail in my paintings. I found that the color dries very quickly, so if you don't have a wet brush ready to hand, the colors can be hard to blend without having any sharp edges. I think the way to get around these pens is to not expect to get the same result as working with watercolors from the tube or pan. The colors are quite intense, but you can tone them down by using a wet brush and lifting off the paint from the pen. I will need to play around with these more when using aquarelles. There are two points to the pens, a fine point and a brush point. I have used both and they work very well. I read/heard that the nibs can pop off when taking the tops off, but I think that only happens if you try to pull the top off at an angle. It hasn't happened to me as I pop them straight off.
