For only $20, it's a great patient education model!!!
OMG - so many things are happening on this little model. I love it! And for $20 you cannot go wrong.-Implant supported bridge - removable PFD to show implant abutments-Extracted tooth-FPDs: tooth supported, implant supported, maryland-#9 Fx tooth at gum line with large post/core (great for explaining why tooth with large post fractured and broke)-#8 implant crown...There are so many little gems on this model - and only $20. Great product for the cost.A note though - it is not "glass" this is plastic and has a strong plastic smell out of the box.

Terrific product, low cost, great visual demonstration of a range of dental conditions and restorations
Purchased as visual aid for my office - terrific product, extremely low cost. Demonstrates: 1 soft tissue impacted 3rd molar, 3-5 tooth borne FPD, 7 extraction (I was able to remove the tooth from the typodont, not sure if this is intended or not, but doesn't appear to hurt anything...), 8 restoration w/ post, core, crown, 9 implant supported single unit crown, 13 extraction, 14 pulp chamber, 17 tipped carious 3rd molar, 18 deep caries w/ abscess, 19 deep caries, 20 extraction w/ periodontal involvement, 21 and 22 calculus and periodontal involvement, 25-27 tooth borne Maryland bridge, 28-30 implant supported FPD, 32 horizontally impacted 3rd molar.

A good basic 3D model of various dental situations for patient education.
nice! a good little model for those inquisitive patients when a picture wont do and a 3D model helps to clarify things. Would've been better to show a representation of an abcess with a sinus tract leading to an infected tooth in the model! good , solid model nonetheless.

Feels cheap
The indirect restorations (inalys, onlays, veneers, bridges, etc.) come off easily, and I can foresee them being lost. Also, the removable teeth are held in by some sticky, clear, gunky substance which makes handling them sticky and gross. But overall, it does its job as a patient education tool.

Great for demo
Bought for demonstration for my class and love it. It has a lot of great features and I an able to do a lot of "show and tell" with it. The only negative is that the Maryland bridge doesn't seat very well.

Good demonstration for students/patients
Good price as tracing tools. The hinges kinda loose and come off easily. Other than that, happy about the purchase

Could be better
I had to replace my original order. The first one would have been perfect but it arrived broken in 2 so I returned it and reordered. But the second one isn't as good as the first one, the occlusion is far off, acrylic isn't clear, some of the teeth are shelling apart and some roots are missing.

Best price x value I ever bought on Amazon !
One of my best Price x Real Value buys in Amazon. A great model. The only Cons is about the front upper incisive (21) that can be released too easy and can loose it.

Excellent product for the price - crowns and bridges will loosen so beware if you are moving around different practices as I do. I got around this by making my model a set of whitening trays which keep everything in place. Recommended.
