I ordered this pool table top conversion to a ping pong table for my son's birthday. It was expensive but well worth it. It is a gorgeous and well made table, fits perfectly atop my 9' pool table, and is sound and easy to put together. It is very heavy though, and you need a strong person or two to lift it into place. That said, it easily snaps together, and you are ready to play. The top is a lovely smooth blue, with a good bounce. The kit paddles that come with it are nothing special, and while they are good to have for the kids and their friends, I bought myself a better paddle. One thing is that the delivery was very slow. It took an extra week to get it from the local warehouse to our house.

Packaging was damaged which did not effect the table. This is a very sturdy table and nicely designed. The two halves interlock preventing them from separating. The net interlocks with that joint. Very simple to connect the two halves as well as the net. Unlike some less expensive options, there are no seems effecting play. The only seem is where the two halves connect under the net. Each half of the table is a solid piece with no seems/fold in it. It's a bit heavy but not unmanageable with two adults. Fits very nicely over our full size pool table. Very happy with this ping pong table top highly recommend it.

I am really impressed with the quality of the ping pong table! It looks great and plays great. I wish that there were larger or more foam pads sent with these tables because they are 1in square pads that don’t really do too much, but we aren’t worried about the table scratching the pool table. One thing to be aware of: the locking mechanism is awesome (and that is what holds the net up), but there will be like a quarter to half inch gap because of the locking mechanism in the middle of the table. Other than that it is a great purchase and we had no dents or scratches like other people have complained about.

Very nice quality on the coated surface and there was surprisingly no damage in shipping. The carton is huge, heavy and although it had holes and foot prints all over it from the carrier, there was not even a scratch on the product. It assembled very easily with 8 screws and pre-drilled holes. My only complaint is that I chose this one over the others on Amazon because it indicated fully padded on the bottom. It is not, it only has a package of 3M neoprene adhesive squares you place on the underside yourself. Now I planned to do that in addition to the padding I expected to see so I just added more to protect the pool table below it...but it would have been nice to see the entire underside or at least the edged where contact would be made covered somehow. Nice product, good price and no problems. Buy it - we have had fun with it already!!!

You need this in your life! Fun, fun, fun!! Heavy though.. I couldn't lift it by myself to get the package inside, but I have barely there, girly muscles and a bum knee right now. It's super sturdy and an all around excellent buy. Easy to set up

When we received our table tennis top from Bowmar (after searching for a high quality pool table/tennis table top) we found it was narrower than we anticipated and concerned that it would not meet our needs. We contacted Bowmar, spoke with their customer service representative who was genuinely empathic and immediately investigated our purchase. We had determined that we would have to donate the table top if we could not fashion at least a temporary 'fix' and accept an expensive mistake. Instead, even without request or expectation, Bowmar forwarded a full refund and apology for a description shortcoming!! Impressive customer service from a company known for high quality sporting goods - would recommend anytime!!

AWESOME!!! Table is rock solid- worth the extra $. German engineering, very well thought out. Table joins together with dove- tail style locking design. Net slides in perfect, no messing around with adjustments. Took 2 minutes from out of the box to playing. Shipping was awesome! Great customer service the entire way. Box and table was in perfect shape. Very well packaged. 3/4 inch thick table allows for a true bounce. I have played on tables that cost ten times the amount of this table and can't tell the difference. The blue paint job on mine is flawless- car like finish. Fast delivery, had mine in about 7 business days after ordering.
