Good Saw!
Gyokochu makes great saws; I have two so far. This little saw (and it’s pretty little) makes super-fine, straight cuts in hard or soft woods. Really nice for really fine stuff, like small box joinery, model making, etc. High tpi (maybe 20?). If you’re doing more “regular-sized” stuff, I’d recommend Gyokochu’s larger, 9 1/2” dozuki, but all their saws are very good quality, at a really good price.

My new favorite saw
Ahh I don’t think I’ll ever go with any other brand for Japanese saw. This cuts amazingly, the handle is comfortable, and the teeth are durable. I’ve purchased a Suizan before, but the teeth would fall after a few months of use.Highly recommend for people looking to make accurate clean cuts!

Accurate, narrow kerf pull saw
This saw gives one of the finest cuts I've seen from a pull saw. The kerf is very narrow and thecut quality is exceptional. I find the 'linear' handle of Japanese-style pull saws to be uncomfortableafter a while but other than that, I find this saw to be a wonderful tool!

Unreal time saver
I bought it because I needed to cut some chair legs and a YouTuber went on and on about this type of saw. But he was right. I could make the tiniest shaves off of the wood when I needed to correct a bad cut.

Small but sharp
This is a small saw. But it cuts great and has a really thin kerf. So far this is my go to joinery saw.

Excelente para cortes finos
muy preciso!! llevo mas de 4 meses de uso y es perfecto para cortes finos, al tener costilla no puedes hacer cortes mas profundos de la hoja, pero para detalles finos es perfecto!
