Wow! Works great! Read 4 tips on single SSID for 2.4/5 ghz router!
The media could not be loaded. I used this to automate my Popcorn Machine via Alexa! I wired it up to individually control the popcorn Machine's Light, Popcorn warmer base, Kettle Heat, & Kettle Stir Motor!I then created an"Let's Make Popcorn" Routine that first turns on the popcorn Machine Light, then Alexa asks you to dump in the Coconut Oil, then she will go ahead and start preheating the kettle for a few minutes! Afterwards she tells you to dump in the popcorn packet in the kettle and starts the Kettle Stir and starts warming up the popcorn warming base!Once the popcorn is nearly completed popping Alexa will turn off the kettle heat & stir motor! She tells you to wait a minute or so to let it finish popping before asking you manually dump the kettle! She announces to all my Echoes that the popcorn is Ready - so everyone comes running! She automatically turns of the warm tray and light a few minutes later!I have now optimized the timing for preheating the kettle, popping the corn to minimize the unpopped kernels!I plan to create another routine based off the first one for an additional batch to use when the kettle is always hot!Okay! Now for the nitty gritty - setting up this "Sonoff 4 Channel Smart Switch" controller is fairly simple!I wired up some wires to the "Sonoff 4 Channel Smart Switch" 4 load outputs and on the other end of the wire I crimped on AMP Female Disconnects that way I could unplug the power lead going into the popcorn machines existing lighted switches and plug and plug in the new wire leads that I made for each channel! Then I attached wire to the Load input port on the "Sonoff 4 Channel Smart Switch" and a crimped a male spade on so that I could plug it into the original power wire female connectors that I removed from the switches! Then I added a wire to the first neutral port of the "Sonoff 4 Channel Smart Switch" - on the other end of this wire I used a "male spade" to splice it together with another 3 inch wire with a female connector. That way I could just unplug the neutral wire from the lighted switch and plug it into the new male spade connector I just made and the new female into the switch! I used electrical tape to tape up any unused remain power connectors that supplied power to the original switches. Plus any I all of the male to female connections I made!I then plugged the Popcorn Machine back into the wall power outlet and noticed the I used this to automate my Popcorn Machine via Alexa! It worked fine! Then to configure the"Sonoff 4 Channel Smart Switch" - I did have to temporarily disable SmartConnect (which allows a single SSUID for both 2.4 ghz band and 5 ghz band on my Netgear R9000 router - so that I could connect it to the network! This I believe is due to a problem with the eWeLink app's configuration setup! I've only had problems setting up Sonoff and BroadLink devices! I have never had problems setting up any other 2.4 GHz band "only" devices with SmartConnect enabled. In this case after I had it the configured as in the network, I was able to reenable SmartConnecton the router and after the setting it updated I just reboot the router and it the device will reconnect fine!Once configured Alexa sees the "Sonoff 4 Channel Smart Switch" as 5 different devices! The first one controls all of the four switches! Which is nice when you want to turn all 4 switches on or off at the same time! It allows you to re-name everything you want!I named mine PCM Main, PCM-Light, PCM-Warmer, PCM-KettleHeat & KettleStir! I purposely didn't name it Popcorn Machine so that it has to be voice operated via the Alexa Routine I created and mentioned earlier!I did have to temporarily disable SmartConnect (which allows a single SSUID for both 2.4 ghz band and 5 ghz band on my Netgear R9000 router - so that I could connect it to the network! Works fine
It works fine using sonoff local bridge (nspanel pro or iHost). I use it as a virtual device to trigger non zigbee/sonoff devices.

Control from anywhere!
I first started using the simple Sonoff switches. I love the fact that I could control my lamps at home form anywhere. Then I purchased the temperature monitor switches to monitor and control a commercial water heater. After that I added switches all over my home and business. Now I can monitor electric consumption on most of my equipment, temperature of water and building. I can program the temperature sensor switch to trigger the 4CH smart switches that control the air Coolers in the building. The 4 channels are excellent to control the fan speeds.

Lockout mode works perfectly for house fan
I used this to add smart control to a Quiet Cool three speed house fan. Works perfectly.

A mess of wires!
Do yourself a favor and just buy a smart plug or a smart light switch. This seems to be what was available before the smart plugs and smart light switches were available and cheap! This unit needs to be inside a safe electrical box. It is a mess of unsafe wires with 110vac!!! I would try to use it inside a four gang box with four light switches but there are so many wires I think I would be better off just buying four smart light switches. A little more expensive but a much nicer installation! Note: This will not make most models of garage door openers made after 2011 smart! They use different codes every time you open them.
