T-820 99 Minute Handheld Countdown Timer Black

Worked fine for the 1st month. Now the timer does not beep when it reaches zero, rendering the countdown device useless for my needs. Exceeded the return date. Into the garbage it goes.Correction: just found the manual. Looks like there is a way to enable/disable the beeping. Changing rating to 5 star.

I work part-time for an airport shuttle service, and we have a policy where, once you pick up passengers at the airport, you have two minutes to remain before you close up and head back to the parking lot. A number of our shuttles' display timers don't seem to work, so I decided to pick this up as an individual, on-person remedy for them not working. I prefer to attach the timer to my belt loop by way of a retractable key ring-type device, and I was able to modify the device to fit that profile with no issues (I just removed the two screws that keep the case together, removed the rope, and replaced it with a small split-ring key ring. I attached that to my retractable.). No performance issues with it. I just set it for a 2-minute countdown and off it goes. When you reset it, even if you turn it off, the next time you turn it on, it's ready to go with whatever duration you last set it for (in my case, 2 minutes).

Best countdown timer. I use this as a USATF Certified official for high jump. It's great because it's easy to set time for 1, 2, 3, and 5 minutes and beyond and begin the countdown. I don't have worry about how much time an athlete has left. It's crystal clear. I have purchased several and given then away to other officials. Highly recommend if you need a countdown timer. It also has an alarm that keeps when time is up.

Counts down only. Just what I wanted. Big display. Just what I wanted because I look down at it while I am doing race maneuvers (sailing). My only suggestion is to make it so that the buzzer sound would go off every minute during the countdown. Then I might not have to look down/fumble around for it at all.

Simple and easy to use. Just what I needed.

I bought this for use at my team's soccer practices. Its a great tool for managing the length of certain activities and knowing when to rotate players, give players a set amount of time for breaks, etc.Its very light and seems fragile in the hand, but it has survived several sessions already and I am not easy on equipment at all.

Was nice timekeeper while it worked..used it for timed softball and baseball games..With dusty environment, dirt got into buttons..took apart and cleaned but one button wont work (spring nort working) pretty much useless now. Bought a different timing mechanism that's much better.
