Sticky, sticky, sticky
This stuff is the best joist tape you will ever use. If you want to tape someone’s mouth shut, this is your go-to tape.

Great sticky tape

Easy to install
This worked excellent on the triple perimeter joists on my deck covering them neatly and quickly . Adhesive is very sticky and it was on the joists for a week before I installed the decking . There was no problem at all leaving it on that long before covering . I used it not so much to protect the joists but to alleviate any creaking or squeaking which is a common complaint with composite decking using hidden fasteners .
