The Art of the Last of Us Part II Deluxe Edition

Naughty Dog and Dark Horse have done it once again. They have made an amazing art book for any last of us fan would be happy with. The quality of the actual paper and front, back cover, slip cover and concept drawing is second to none and litteraly what Merch and art books for large companies and IP's should be.I still haven't read the entire book it's so big but jam backed of concept art that is so cool to see!

Amazing, loved the game and it’s a lovely addition to my collection

Like others I had seen online, I was still waiting for this to arrive months after it's June release date, but it was worth the wait! The book is a tad bigger than I expected (or I knew the size and had forgotten?) and although I haven't managed to have a proper look through yet, it looks and feels like it is very high quality! The pages and pictures I saw are lovely, and the slip case is sturdy. It was also packaged well, with a plastic wrap and inside its own cardboard box where it was well cushioned. (separate from Amazon's box)This is definitely a "must buy", if you are a fan!

Feels really high quality and comes with a gorgeous print. Looks great on my bookshelf too. Good purchase for any TLOU fan.

Very much worth it

No idea if there were issues with production of this book as it was pre-ordered in February and arrived yesterday (22.10.20) but considering how this year has played out perhaps I shouldn't be surprised. Anyway, had the TLOU2 "fern" console for a couple of weeks until it stopped working (cheers for the swift refund amazon 👍) and the Deluxe Edition version of the game.Obviously the game turned out to be incredibly divisive but after getting my platinum trophy my feelings somewhat subsided but... we wanted more Ellie. Anyway this book is beautiful and extremely high quality. Having completed the game twice the contrast of the peaceful image on the slipcase and the more threatening one on the front cover even now conjures transcendent "feelings" of the sickeningly violent, traumatic journey Ellie embarked upon.I said in my review of the game "An incredible experience but much like life, it leaves you feeling bad and wishing things had been different." That still resonates with me and I mention it because each beautiful image takes you back to the corresponding part of the game. TLOU2 stays with you long after you complete it and this tome reminds you of everything endured on the journey, absolutely imperative for fans and as with everything Dark Horse does, the lithograph is of similar impeccable standard/quality.
