Don't put in the dishwasher, it will dull the finish.

I love how easy it is to slice eggs for salad and mushrooms too. Very helpful and super quick.

My original strawberry slicer is getting really old so I wanted a backup. Bought one slicer but sent it back because the first time I used it it broke! So I decided to get this one because it's all metal. It's not as easy to use and bulkier to fit in the drawer. At least the lock feature keeps it secure. It is a little heavier and harder to use for older hands. I'll probably end up buying one just like my first strawberry slicer and seeing if somebody wants this one. I should have returned it when I still had time, oh well.

This is worth the money, good quality, used for strawberries and mushrooms so far

Hinge is loose enough to misalign blades with slots.

No complaints with the function or results whatsoever. Wholly regretful I ran it through the Dishwasher. Ruined the finish. The high temp water broke down the finish 1st run to where everything it comes into contact with leaves dark aluminum traces from the finish just being compromised. Wrote my name with it on a cardboard box after seeing how much transfer was coming off as I tried to wipe the residue clean with a paper towel. It's first use was amazing though! Absolutely better than wire slicers hands down, however the damage I did to it has left quite the sour taste in my mind towards the cleanup side of things. So much so that I'm not willing to gamble on a replacement. I'll settle for the dishwasher safe wire cutters going forward. So disappointing.

I use this to slice strawberries for my salads. I had a plastic mushroom slicer i used for this task until one of the blades bent and i went bananas searching forva replacement. This is perfect! Love it! Sturdy and nice sharp blades.

Works great for slicing eggs, a little fiddle for chopping but still very good

Not sure it will last very,long I’ll keep in touch here .. seems very fragile and hits the blade incorrectly every two or three times you close to cut mushroom

Not for eggs makes a mess, but for mushrooms it's excellent, quick and easy slices.

A little hard to push if mushrooms are soft or a little to big should have a little brush to wash after use but all in it saves time

I wanted to replace a typical wire egg slicer. This looked much sturdier, and it is. But the result were poor. First it is too small for a regular large egg. It is also too small for a lot of mushrooms. I wouldn't even want to try strawberries in it because it didn't really slice mushrooms and eggs as much as it just kind of squished them until they gave way, with substandard results. I sent it back.

Needs to use wire or just be a holder while I use a knife.
