Set up was easy, works like the original one.

We used these to replace the remotes that had been lost at Mom & Dad's house. The house had been sold, and the new owners requested the remotes. We took note of the color of the programming button on the back of the lift mechanism, which brought us to these remotes.We just followed the instructions on the back of the mechanism to program them.Very easy.Quality product, works well, ok price- would buy again.

Came fast, easy to program with included instructions and my existing purple button drive unit.Batteries already loaded and ready to go.Only minor complaint was the packing.Very loose in box, could have saved themselves a box and fit this in a size zero bubble mailer, and been very well protected while saving themselves money too.Very minor concern, as they got to me in working condition and barely dinged at all.

Good backup. But haven't had to use them yet.

I recently bought a house that had a 2005 Craftsman garage door opener and as soon as I started using the original remotes to the garage door opener from the previous owners, it stopped working after one or two uses. I bought new batteries for it and I'm assuming the remotes were too old for continued use. I bought these two remotes on Amazon and the set up was quick and easy. For people with older garage door openers, I would HIGHLY recommend buying these remotes if your former remotes have stopped working.

My wife's remote died a few years back, so I could only use mine. Then last week, mine finally bit the dust. I was worried that programming the new ones from an after market supplier would be difficult.Not so.... These were a snap to program. Following the directions from the manual I downloaded from the internet, I just used my buttons on the wall controls to have these remotes "learn" how to open my garage door. It took exactly 4 minutes to do both. Now, we both have working remotes, again! And these have small led's that light when activated. The OEM model remote did not!

Worked perfectly for me checked manual for garage opener and looked for remote part number these were marked as compatible with my opener. Double checked mine had the purple learn button shown in the listing and ordered. Syncing was the same as normal remote. Press learn button for a second, it will illuminate for 30 seconds and during that time click the big button to sync, the opener light will flash and the remote can now be used. Not sure on longevity of the remotes or batteries pre-installed or the range compared to the original. My only complaint is remotes do feel very cheaply made but they work and I don’t intend to throw it around. Came with instructions to sync two smaller buttons but not worried about that so I just omitted that

The product is not pairing / syncing with my garage unit. I’ve tried to find instructions online and none of them work.
