Great looking -and playing- guitar
This is a great guitar. I already have the smaller bodied CC60SCE which I'm very happy with and I use it most days for practice, but I just wanted to treat myself to the dreadnought version for the slightly fuller sound.Out of the box I thought maybe it was a mistake as they felt so similar to pick up and hold, but it immediately sounded totally different, so I am really happy with it.It is beautifully made, except for one minor criticism (minor for me at least) - the plastic pickguard was not stuck on very well. In my case it didn't matter as I was hoping to remove it (I prefer the clean look of the wood and I don't need a pickguard, in fact I wish they came loose in the box as standard so the buyer can choose whether or not to stick it on). So happily for me, I was able to carefully peel it off very easily. But if you want it to stay on there, you might have been disappointed and would have had to press it down to make sure it was properly stuck on.Apart from the pickguard, the guitar looks stunning, it is beautifully made and has a great sound, and the setup is already very playable on arrival, though I may lower the action a tiny amount to make it easier to fret.

Hell Yeah!!
I had been looking for a Gemini II for an age, one of the nicest sounding fenders I have ever played. I gave mine away two decades ago to our local busker who had been beaten up and had his guitar busted. Since then I had been looking for anew one. Drunk the other night I bought this guitar I must have been under some alcohol induced illusion that I had found the grail. Shocked when it arrived as I had no recollection of the purchase I thought well if I bought it I had better try it out. OMG, crisp, deep sound like a Classical Hoffner and amazing action similar to my son’s acoustic Ibinez, I can’t fault it, banged out some Floyd on it, some Biffy, a few other tunes too, such a fresh warming sound. The high notes are well defined with no sharp ring or tinniness to them. I did find that heavy pick strumming the low E and A buzzed, but with a bit of getting used to and control this is negated with applying perpendicular down and up strokes... a little unforgiving and highly critical, this guitar will not let you hide your mistakes, the sound it bellows out is lush. Plugged into my amp, I was blown to the next level... well done Fender you have birthed the voice of an angel with volume of my old drill sergeant. For beginners the action feels light, but I could not comment on what wear and tear I would deliver on those fresh finger tips, but I think it would be worth learning on this guitar as it would push your mastery of precision to the next level. I will be honest the tele and the SG are gathering dust at the moment as this is my go to box... big thanks to Guinness and Glenlivet for making this union of me self and this guitar possible. Mik

Great sound and beautiful instrument!
I had bought the 140SCE first, but the guitar didn't match the illustrations in the announcement and the strings were touching the arm more than once when played, so I returned it to Amazon. Then I decided to go for the 60 and it was a great decision. The sound is great, not very different from that of 140, and the instrument is impeccable.

Gorgeous tone
Absolutely gorgeous sound. I'm new to acoustic guitars, so can't compare it to anything else, but the tone is gorgeous, and the neck is a pleasure to play. Seems to keep in tune. My only gripe is the connection to the amp has occasionally dropped out what playing. I've tested the (acoustic) amp with my electric - its not the amp or cable, so can only conclude the Fender jack socket must be at fault.

Lovely guitar
Such a nice looking and more importantly sounding guitar. Easy to tune, works as acoustic without an amp or plugged in. Lovely guitar.
