Working under lights just speeds up the drying time of acrylics and I need them to stay wet longer for the detail art I do. This helps extend that time longer especially after you have mixed your color values. I often put a small amount in a small water spray bottle and spray a little over my paint mixtures when they appear to be drying out.

This product helped keep my paints wet and bendable for extended time. Great product that helps conserve paint and extend workable time.

I’m new to using this product. It definitely slows the drying time of acrylics. I’ve been experimenting a little with scraffito. Since acrylic dries so fast I’ve found if I add a tiny bit of this retarder the scraffito goes easier

I really need more time painting with acrylic paint, this retarder gives the time I need most of the time, it’s not going to give you all day but if your paint is drying out, and you need more time use this, you may add more at any time.
