We finally upgraded from our old knife set (same brand). I love the blades, those are high quality and SHARP. I am disappointed in the handles. They are not as durable as our old set.

Great knives and delivered as described

Ok, I was suckered in by Prime day, the pretty block, and the good reviews left. But this set is honestly garbage. It looks cheap and is cheap. I would have rather spent $100-$200 more and have something that would last a lifetime. Instead I may be stuck with a set of knives that are-rusting already-handles came faded and looking scratched already-blades are not straightI do not use harsh cleaners or the dishwasher either. The magic sponge that usually gets rust off of things could not get the rust off of these knives. My husband wants to use WD-40 but I’m not down for eating off of something that’s been previously sprayed with a toxic chemical. Even if it’s not classified as a toxic chemical, but that’s just me.And the kicker is when I tried to register my set on the official Henckel website they wouldn’t accept my serial numbers for warranty. Looks like we’re going with Cutco next time.

I bought these for my folks, who were in severe need of a decent set of knives. They actually kept all of their knives piled and unsheathed in a drawer, the horror! My dad loves them. The blades are high quality, sharp and even. Both he and I noticed these knives have a nice balance. The handles are smooth and a little rounded, not huge like some sets can be. My mom is very petite, so this was a nice bonus.
