Best Buy
Fast and accurate water heater. A best buy. I press Start, Coffee, and Hold to get 96C water in minutes. Seems silly to spend three times the cost of my Hario Switch but accurate temp is important. Worst is 3C low as it's designed to race to 3 degrees under target and then coast to finish. $10 more for Fabuletta allows exact temp (currently unavailable). Fellow Stagg at $170 is a bit more accurate (stopping 5 degrees under and slowly approaching finish). But water cools far more during the pour over. Need Hold for the 90 seconds until final pour. Don't forget the pre-rinse to warm the brewer and filter (and not to clean the filter as many suggest). It never boils because it never gets to 212F (100C). So, no spitting or whistling. The kettle is made with food-grade 304 stainless steel, ensuring no plastic taste in your water and no rusting. The gooseneck spout and counterbalanced handle mean precise water flow, making it ideal for pour-over coffee. Includes auto shut-off and boil-dry protection. I leave on counter so no banging spout to wear it down.

So Much Better Than a Stove Kettle – Fast, Precise, and Super Functional
I’m absolutely loving the COSORI Electric Gooseneck Kettle with 5 Temperature Control Presets! Compared to my old kettle that I used on the stove, this electric version is a total game-changer.The water boils so much faster — no more waiting around or keeping an eye on the stove. The 5 temperature presets are incredibly convenient, letting me pick the perfect heat for different types of tea or coffee without guessing. The gooseneck spout gives me amazing control when pouring, which is essential for precision brewing. It’s also very user-friendly with an easy-to-read display and intuitive controls. Plus, the sleek design looks great on my countertop and doesn’t take up much space.Overall, this kettle makes boiling water easier, faster, and more precise. If you’re still using a stovetop kettle, I highly recommend upgrading to this one — you won’t regret it!

Perfect
I use this kettle twice a day and love it. I use it every morning to make pour over coffee and every night to make tea. I’ve had it for a year and half and have had no problems with it! I love the hold temp feature for making coffee so it keeps it hot between pours! This has held up better than I could have expected! It doesn’t leak at all and the goose neck allows for controlled pours. Definitely worth every penny!

Modern, sleek tea kettle. Second one I purchased (this one as gift)!
I love this item that I bought a second one as a gift for someone else. Here is what I like about it:- It looks good on the counter. It is sleek and modern.- It heats water very fast. No more long waits for the old school tea kettle.- It is enough for at least a few mugs of coffee/tea.- There are multiple temperature options for different kinds of tea/coffee.- There is an option to hold the temperature so that you can walk away and not worry about it staying hot.

Great.
I love this gooseneck kettle. I decided to start drinking more tea and wanted a healthier option in loose leaf. This kettle does just what it is supposed to do and heats my water to the exact temp for the various teas.Easy to pour. So far very pleased with it.

Really Works Well
The true test, of course, is whether it's still working well in a year. But a few weeks in, I'll say I really like it. It's definitely small capacity. I bought it for pour-over coffee, and I get one cup of coffee out of it. Ok by me, but it's something to be aware of if you're buying this for a large capacity french press or something. Check the stated capacity of this kettle compared to your brewing vessel. What I really like is the very, very easy and intuitive temperature control system, the fact that the beeps are not very loud, and can be turned off completely, and how quiet it is as it heats. Most kettles get so loud as they heat that I can't hear anything else. Might have something to do with the small capacity, but still, I'm glad it's quiet.I like it. It's not as nice looking as the Stagg, which is what I wanted for years, with it's wood handle and lid knob. But based on reviews, that wood lid knob regularly cracks wide open, and the cheap plastic display stops working. There were a few too many Stagg reviews with the exact same problems...enough of them that I couldn't justify the price. This was the next-coolest-looking, for less money and with better reviews. We'll see how things go over time.ONE YEAR REVIEWStill going strong.Pros: pretty much all the above is still true.Personally I've had none of the issues I see in the 3-and-less-star reviews. Yet.Cons: It did finally get noisy. Maybe as everything broke in it loosened up a little? Not sure, but now it's the typical, loud kettle. It does leak a little around the base, only sometimes. The max fill line is really hard to see. After a while you get a sense of how full is too full, but if you have to rely on seeing the max fill line, it's not easy to make out. It's started making some loud popping noises when it first starts heating up, and I get the sense it's not just water vaporizing in the base, but larger problems looming. When it makes a loud pop, the typically heating sound goes away for a few seconds, then starts again. So I'm guessing the popping is something starting to go faulty with the heating element. As some other reviews mention, the buttons don't work when wet. So what. It's an electric base. We should all be trying hard to avoid getting it wet. It works again as soon as it dries.I see a lot of similar kettles are on the market now. Might be worth exploring other options. But as a lot of us have probably noticed, there's not a huge difference from one to the other. Often, they're made in the same factory in China, with a different name stamped on them, and maybe a couple slight differences in design. But basically the same kettle. I think people's positive and negative experiences come down more to luck of the draw on how well their individual kettle was assembled, how well the circuit board was soldered, etc.2 YEAR REVIEWStill going strong. Popping noise I mentioned hasn't gotten worse, and I'm starting to think there's a connection between that noise and how much mineral build-up is on the inside. Seems to be worse when there's build-up. Sometimes, for months at a time, it doesn't happen. The "leaking at the base" I mentioned in the one-year review might actually just be steam coming up through the top vents and the edge of the lid, running down to the base. Anyway it hasn't gotten any worse over 2 years.Aside from being noisier than when I first bought it, it still works like brand new.
