Super cute but crazy hard.... even as an adult i am barely able to balance more than 2 birds on each wing. As a parent, suggest gluing the wings and head permantly to the bird to make it toddler-fun, but the little birds blocks wind up getting played with as themselves, more than being balanced.

Janod is probably my favorite toy brand. I’ve purchased several of their toys and each one is of superb quality, durability, and design. Not to mention... they’re all absolutely adorable! They’re among my toddler’s all-time favorite toys. And this game was no different... my kiddo is still a bit too young to get the balancing/game aspect but she loves playing with it nonetheless -stacking the birds, matching by color and size, etc. Definitely with the price. Very satisfied with this purchase.

It’s an attractive toy! Very well made. A little smaller than expected .I read one of the reviews mentioning it doesn’t stay up... it’s only because they did not set it up properly... me and my husband r even enjoying playing this toy

Really beautifully made but utterly impossible to play with. I regret this purchase and had I not saved it for Christmas, I would’ve returned it immediately.

I had to glue all the loose pieces of the flamingo together just to be able to place the little birdie blocks on the wings. It was impossible to play unless it is glued. Now we can play and I think my little ones will enjoy it.

I prefer to buy sustainably made, non-toxic, durable toys whenever possible and by those measures this flamingo fit the bill. However, when I set this up for my niece, the wings wouldn't stay in place, the head swung around and even getting it to start in a neutral position was a challenge for an adult, let alone a child, let alone playing the game the way it is meant to be played. I wanted to love this and to leave a good review, but six adults tried this (including a spine surgeon) and agreed that it's ridiculous. I mean it wouldn't even make a decent drinking game for adults because it's difficult sober. Bummed out. Maybe you could glue the pieces together and make a workable toy, but alas I had to leave before we could jury rig the thing to be a functional toy for a four year old.

Bought this as a gift and paired it with the Sylvia the Flamingo book. Great game for practicing then taking and fine motor skills. I also love the wood construction.

Frustrating for a 3-5 year old. Better for older kids or adults to play around with—in my opinion:)
