This isn’t an air conditioner which makes it much cheaper to run and much more environmentally friendly.If you use the ice block it will blow icy cold air right at you - bliss on a hot and sticky night. It works well enough to keep me in bed and not on the settee during the hottest of nights.It makes noise but not to the point of keeping me awake. I switch it on to maximum speed, 30-60m before going to bed and then put it in night mode.Really easy to move around when empty.Easy enough to set up and very easy to use. I wash out the tank with anti bacterial spray before refilling.I'm very happy with it but wasn't expecting it to chill the whole room.

Had this a year. Brilliant tool. Tried a few before i purchased this one and they were not powerful enough, this one cools room down quickly. Easy to fill. Lasts all day with 10 litre capacity. Easy to clean out. You can add ice or ice packs.

This evaporative cooler performs effectively in my baby's room, serving dual purposes as a cooling fan and white noise machine. The unit is larger than expected, with a generous water reservoir lasting 2-3 days of regular use.The built-in timer function allows automatic shutoff, but it lacks smart connectivity features for remote operation. Additionally, there's no thermostat to automatically regulate operation based on room temperature.

This is not an air conditioning unit. It will do some gentle cooling of the immediate air that blows through it, but won't affect ther overall room temperature. As long as that is understood, then it is a good buy. It does make a difference when the room gets excessively hot.It's essentially a slightly sophisticated fan which uses the principal of evaporation and latent heat to slightly chill the air that it blows through its filter. This will make anyone sitting in the air flow feel cooler (- e.g. it's actually 30 degrees but feels like 27 and bearable).From arrival, and out of the box, it took only moments to make it operational.10 seconds to attach the wheels, and 30 seconds to add water to the tank, along with the supplied ice packs which were already cold.In day time mode it can be a bit annoying as it keeps turning itself off for a few seconds, then restarting. In night time mode, that doesn't happen, as it starts off with a fast fan, then slows to a steady fan speed. So night time is the mode I use. The noise level is very acceptable, and I probably could sleep with it on.Probably best to have some other ice packs chilled ready for when it's time to refill the tank with cold water. Standard freezer ice packs fit well.

After days and days of researching this, I finally purchased it.It does not project the cool air as I imagined it ... Very weak in this department .... You need to have this at least 1 metre from you to gain a decent enough cool air. Any claims from people including the manufacturer of this cooling a room are sadly mistaken as soon as you step away from the air projected directly at you from 1 metre or less..you feel the room temperature pretty much exactly how you left it...boiling hot . My room is a single size bedroom. The air is probably 15% cooler then a traditional fan which is not much at all considering the price range. That's including using freezing water, 2 ice packs and ice cubes.Wheels fitted on are absolutely useless ... Almost like dragging the unit as opposed to gliding it across the room.I rarely leave reviews ever...but on this occasion I was so disappointed .... After reading the positive comments I went in for this but big mistake.I wish I could return this product and get money back to invest in and put towards an actual portable A/C unit instead.You been warned peoples !!!

After running this Water Cooler for almost 2 weeks now during peak summer spell in UK. I believe it's quite good as fan only , but if you switch to the Water evaporation feature, it just makes things worse in the already humid British summer. Even though you keep the windows open it's just make the room very stuffy and moist, which is opposite to what you need.Use of ice pack didn't not contribute to anything, instead once the ice packs are melted they start to stink up the room.3 star for the good fan, but there are cheaper alternatives available for just fan.

This is a brilliant machine. I now have four! Two are with my nieces in their homes and I have one upstairs in my bedroom and downstairs in my sitting room. Even without the ice packs in the water the air is cool.My dog loves it - especially at night.I can set the timer or just have it going all the time. The remote control is by my bed and so useful.

An outstanding cooler. Its efficacy, reliability and powerful cooling ability can be judged by the fact that this is my third purchase of the item. It is slightly noisy but not to an extent that it would interfere in one's concentration.I have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and family.
