Exactly what I was looking for. NOT a coloring book, this book is designed to teach you the art of Mehndi. It gives you ample space to practice designs and learn how they should fit together. Henna is made beautiful only through practice and this is just what this book gives! Thanks so much, I looked long and hard to find a book like this and not one that was only full of pictures. Great buy.

Ordered this for a friends daughters birthday. The young girl is very interested in mehndi/henna. When she received it from me she absolutely loved it.

This book breaks down how to approach decorating hands and feet using henna paint, but I love it for the inspiration it gives me for creating my own surface pattern designs.Large, clear pictures throughout.

One of the best beginner design books I have seen on the subject. The only thing that could improve the depth of the book designs would be including the different types (Arabic, Indian, Moroccan,etc) so beginners learn which style they prefer and the supporting elements to create the look.
