HIC Harold Import Co Stainless Steel Grapefruit Knife

Mine came with a angled bend, I rounded it off to match the curve of the grapefruit.After sixty years of using a steak knife to cut my grapefruit, I finally purchased this knife. It is GREAT! It cuts easily and quickly. And I have the full (half) sections to enjoy.

Just perfect. I tend to be a bit of a minimalist, and tried so hard to skip purchasing this, but all I could remember is how much simpler it was to cut a grapefruit in my childhood. It separates the fruit effortlessly, and perfectly, from the peel. It's light - some would even say flimsy, but that's how it's meant to be, and it works just fine - it's exactly what I recall from childhood, and the one in my birth home still is going to good use all these years later.

Needed the tool to be easy use, actually section grapefruit and have a sturdy handle with a solid blade. Does what it should do - a worthy purchase.

Works well. I did bend the blade on mine a little more (personal preference - pressed the end on the counter) it does what it's supposed to do and does it very well.

The knife works fine but it would have been better is it curves at the tip. This would help cut under the grapefruit better. All in all though it does the trick!

The grapefruit fairy snuck into my kitchen an stole my knife, so I needed a replacement. ( she's obviously never heard of Amazon herself) . This nice is perfect, well made, light weight and cuts easily. No grapefruit is safe now in my presence ..... nor will that pesky fair be if I get my hands on her.

I love to eat grapefruit with cottage cheese for breakfast. It is so easy to use and cut out my grapefruit wedges without having to wrestle with the bitter parts. It's like using a regular knife to cut your grapefruit segments but because it is serrated on both sides and is slightly curved to fit a grapefruit it is much easier. I do wish the handle wasn't wooden because it is not my preference but it doesn't add any extra issues.
