Q: Do you add water to make up a solution or do you just use it in its concentrated form? If you do have to add water, how much do you a have to add?

One part product to 12 parts water.

Q: Does the bottle have an expiration date?

I could not find an expiration date on my bottle. There was a code printed on the back, but it was not a meaningful date stamp.

Q: Can this be used to clean makeup brushes?

You can put them in after you have cleansed them to kill off any remaining germs. Clean them with brush cleaner, put them in the solution for around 10 mins and let them air dry

Q: what's the normal use? do you mix up a batch, leave it sit for 6 months and disinfect something every few days? or do you dump it after 1 use?

I mix up a batch for my scissors and will use that for about a week.

GREAT FOR IN HOME STERILITY

Dilute this -cide with water, then it can be used in the home with the proper container. Works great for multiple family members using community hair brushes, combs, scissors, razors, blades, etc. It also works equally well for tweezers, teeth cleaning tool kits and pimple extractor kits. Any cosmetic tool that doesn't rust can be soaked in this solution. Although I would NOT RECOMMEND PUTTING TOOTHBRUSHES IN THIS SOLUTION. I am a family of one, a container this size has lasted for more than two years used regularly for the items listed above. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

BarbicideThat pretty blue liquid you see your hair stylist or barber keep some of their tools in to keep them clean and disinfected.Barbicide is anti-fungal, germicide, virucide, and pseudomonacide << germ and fungal I know, the others need a dictionary search….Anyway, I bought this for home use for clippers, scissors, nail tools, any metal instruments that are shared by family members.Works great and has a long shelf life for a small family.Great value, 16ozs and not for human use.
