Pulsar Mens Alarm Chronograph Watch PQ2049X1

Very easy to read in the optional time display mode shown in my photo which has just Date, Time (12 or 24 hour indication, without seconds but with12mm high digits), and Day. Also, I set the display contrast to +2 (range -3 to +3, factory set to 0) as this puts the sections into distinct boxes and makes reading very easy.Very accurate as it only gains 1 sec in 3 months.The light is activated by a dedicated button and is not of Timex Indiglo standards, but if viewed from around the 12 o'clock position makes reading at night as clear as day. The light source can be selected as red or blue, I used blue and it works fine.Look at the Pulsar instruction booklet for calibre W861 which is available online at the Pulsar site (pulsarwatches-europe.com/instructions) to appreciate all the operational features.It has a large SS case and back with max diameter 47mm, thickness 14mm, with total weight with strap of around 120g. The excellent strap makes this watch very comfy to wear, but the thick case doesn’t always slide easily under the cuffs of slim fit shirts. The strap has 10 holes and will adjust for wrists 8" to 6" (20 to 15 cm).The case is lugged for 24mm strap width, but the strap is specially contoured where it joins the case so when a replacement is needed it would look better with a genuine Pulsar strap.Would be better if solar powered as Pulsar expect the battery to last only 2 years. However, I am very happy with this watch and it was a good buy at £81 from Amazon via Watchshop - May 2019, £40 at Argos!My wife borrows this watch and it does look good on her - she has a 6.5" wrist, same as myself - so this watch could be sold as unisex, but might look too bulky for wrists smaller than ours.Update 05 July 20: all good, apart from the LED light which now only operates intermittently.Update 10 November 20: battery indicator showed low so I renewed the battery, and all is good including the LED light, voila.

Excellent watch and very easy to set. The last one my Husband had you needed a degree just to set the time, it wasn't bought from Amazon. Hw is really delighted with it.

Now one of my most successful purchases. The watch is very heavy and the back light stopped working after a couple of months. I bought a digital watch because my eyesight is not as good as it used to be and find the font not as clear as my previous Casio.

Very nice watch however had to send first one back as back light did not work. The strap is not very long and just fits me and I haven’t got big wrists

Didn’t like the watch , far to heavy and bulky, not the best when light button pressed

Les montres Pulsar sont un signe de qualité . Un excellent produit pas très dispendieux .

Un changement majeur par rapport aux Casio. La montre est lourde, epaise, mais etonnement confortable.Les plus:- boutons très agréables et précis- programmation simple une fois le principe compris (bouton mode pour entrer en menu, boutons à droite pour defiler, bouton mode ou adjust pour valider)- mode Eco - l'affichage peut s'eteindre après 1h ou 3h sans utilisation- 5 alarmes avec un son fort - c'est la premiere montre depuis longtemps qui a remplacé le téléphone portable pour le réveil- visibilité des chiffres - très bonne et avec une option pour une lumiere bleue ou orange, un petit plus- bracelet en caoutchouc qui semble très solideLes moins:- si on active le son des boutons on ne peut pas regler la montre de nuit, la lumiere s'eteint quand à l'appui sur un bouton; pas très grave, il suffit d'éliminer, dans les réglages le son des boutons;- le compte à rebours n'affiche pas en meme temps l'heure, c'est dommage car l'affichage l'aurait permis.

Bel orologio stile sportivo ma anche elegante con quel pizzico di futuristico come da stile Pulsar. Prodotto arrivato puntuale, manca il manuale d'uso, completo di scatola e garanzia, l'orologio è dotato di tutte le funzioni, molto intuitivo in lingua inglese, si possono impostare sia la grandezza dei caratteri sia il contrasto, suoni d'allarme, colore retroilluminazione. Sono soddisfatto dell'acquisto cinturino molto comodo con molti punti di regolazione, fibbia in acciaio, al polso non è troppo pesante ma si fa notare anche come grandezza. Al momento pare che l'indicazione dei numeri sia solo entro le prime 12 cifre, con indicato Am o Pm, non ho capito se è possibile settarli anche con indicazione dalle 13 alle 23.

Für das Geld, eine Superuhr. Schöne grosse Digitalanzeige. Leider etwas kompliziert Einzustellen,(viele Einstellungen) aber wenn man es einmal hat, ist die Uhr super .Die Bedienungsanleitung hat noch einige Updates nötig. Gute Qualität, sehr angenehm zu tragen. Würde die Uhr als täglichen Begleiter weiter empfehlen.

Ya me.gustaba mucho este reloj de hace tiempo y estoy muy satisfecho por haberlo adquirido. A parte de tener una excelente relación calidad-precio, estéticamente es precioso y se ven los números muy bien.
