Good buy.
Bought this cause it was the only bar I could find and now it’s the only bar I want to use for chest. Neutral grip and log part are great for the shoulders.

Heavy, well built, very nice grips, with a very good coating. I leave this bar outside and it has taken abuse quite well.

Good carry over and functional
I bought this a year ago and have been training strongman with it. I have read there is no carry over to an "actual" strongman log, but I have not found that to be the case. I only ever used this log to prep for my first novice strongman comp, which had a log press event with a huge natural log called "Dreamcrusher", which was significantly much larger in diameter than this log. I found Dreamcrusher to be easier; the clean was easier and less taxing, so it went up easier than I was used to. I took 4th out of 6 on that event, and could have gone higher, but was out of attempts and was playing it very conservatively. This log is also great for incline/bench press (I just lap it, sit on the bench, then roll it onto my chest) and hammer curls.
