OEM Quality and perfomance
These struts are perfect and, as I believe STABILUS is the OEM supplier to BMW for the struts on my e39, they should be. Just the right amount of power to lift the trunk lid the same as when it came from the factory, and not too much force like many of the cheaper aftermarket solutions...A GREAT PRICE and LIFETIME WARRANTY! YESSSSSSS!

Easy install, perfect fit, and just the right amount of force
Installed these on my 01 M5. Install was fast and easy, no additional parts or hardware needed. Only needed a small screwdriver for tools. The size was perfect and the lift force seems exactly what it should be. I would definitely recommend these as an option to BMW branded struts.

Quality
I first bought cheeper ones that worked for about a year but soon lost pressure. These installed easy, seem to be doing the job, and I expect will last a lot longer. Wish I had just bought these good ones first...

Great OEM replacement for my car
This was an OEM drop-in replacement for the struts in my car, which was slowly giving up the fight.No more suffering the unexpected bash on the head or back from the trunk closing on me or lowering just enough for my head not to clear it when I stood up.
