Great taste! And i am a super picky sweets lover

I've been hesitant to test this for a while because I did not want to drop $20-50 on something that may very well hit the trash in a few seconds. Perfect way to test.Results of my taste test:Bare in mind I am an extremely picky eater and many common staple foods, both healthy and not, I cannot physically pallet.This bottle of Soylent (bare in mind the powder mix is a bit different) was basically a thick water with an oaty taste (since that is a large ingredient, not surprising). Liquid white like milk but far from the taste. I summarize the taste and texture to be something akin to the pink children's liquid medicine Motrin, not unpalatable but just not super pleasant.I decided with a pallet as picky as mine and my inability to eat anything health, if I can drink an entire bottle of this myself, then I can likely convince my body over time to consider it a food. I did end up picking up a $54 powder subscription from Soylent's website. So we'll see how this goes.

i like the plain original flavor. i’ve been using these for several years, mostly to bring with me when i might miss a meal and so i know i have something vegan with me!i never had an issue with the best by dates when i ordered them by the case but i ordered some singles and they were a little past the date. amazon refunded me and said they will notify the warehouse because it seemed to be an ongoing problem.

Terrible flavor and texture. This brand talks itself up to be a Silicon Valley startup and tech Bros and all that but lost in the mix is the fact that this is supposed to be food that we consume for nutrition for our bodies. That seemed to have gotten lost in the creation.Tasted terrible. Caused diarrhea very quickly. The price is ridiculous. Nothing redeemable.

I like the drink. But it tastes better when it's been refrigerated. Would buy again.

As good as the concept is, I get the feeling they designed it specifically to be as mediocre as possible in all areas. Which, technically speaking, is probably exactly how it ought to be, but you will drink it and think "meh".When warm, it tastes like soy. When cold, it tastes like milk. Add chocolate, strawberry, or banana flavor to it for surprisingly good results. Do not ever, for the love of all things holy, add hot sauce or anything else spicy. I don't know what it is or how it did it, but this stuff will somehow retain the spiciness all the way through your digestive tract and out the other end. I didn't even know it was possible to feel your small intestines, but here we are.If sitting down for a meal three times a day is just such a bother, you'll probably appreciate the straightforward simplicity of this stuff. If you like your eggs scrambled in bacon grease, stir-fried with bell peppers and mushrooms, topped with mozzarella and gravy, and served on a plate the size of your head with a side of sausage, oranges, and a glass of milk, you probably aren't going to like this stuff at all.Also, if you do like them, don't buy them from here. Go to their website and buy, like, 150 a month for $299, it's much cheaper.

Tastes good

You don't always know what you'll get with "strawberry" flavor, but I like that this product isn't super sugary like strawberry milk made from syrup. It doesn't quite make it as a total meal replacement for me, but it's noticeably more filling than milk or juice and has a whole bunch of nutrients.
