Very noisy one shock broke with in a few days leaking oil, Digital monitor broke doesn't show calorie burn

have this unit (elite) model for years and when I first started using it, I did lose weight. I stopped using it for many many years (lazy) but started using it again.the build quality is impeccable and its very quiet. every now and then it starts to squeak but little shot of wd40 and its quiet for many many months.computer is basic, measures time, distance, speed and pulse rate.you can vary the intensity with the shocks and also by how far your stride is.. lean forward and work triceps, lean more backwards and work the biceps. its not going to build muscle but it will tone. I get bored easy and while this gets boring, its still more fun than treadmill.
