Boystown

I find a lot of films that are focused on the gay genre to be very trite and unrewarding for the viewer. This was the exception.Saw it at a film fest last year and have been waiting for the DVD to share it with my friends. It's definitely a dark comedy with several laugh out loud moments (and I rarely laugh out loud). They acting is great and the characters are easy to attach to.Overall a very well done film. Were it not for the subtitles I'd give it 5 stars....I mean, who likes to read when you can stare at the guys.

This was hilarious! Omgoodness the mother when she washed the cat.... I died! Pretty damn good movie. Not much skin shown as I thought, still worth seeing

Hysterical, sophisticated and very well made movie with compelling characters. Not sure I've ever laughed so hard during a movie. Enjoyable from start to finish. Never drags.

Funny, Interesting, Silly, Exciting and Madrid Spanish Movie... Great to watch with your partner on a slow Sunday.. Just be read to read the sub-titles... If you have been to Madrid or want to visit Madrid, watch this movie.. will make you laugh and cry at same time.

Cute movie ! Needs a better title - "Boystown" (?). Also, could speak a little slower, sub-titles hard to follow.Thoroughly enjoyed it !

This movie is funny and endearing. I think the supporting characters are stronger than the main actor--don't let that deter you. The men are loving and real; I bought this movie after having seen it on video and am very pleased with my purchase.

This is a funny, enjoyable movie. Subtitles do not take away from the humor. Whenever I am feeling down, it's a great pick-me-up!!

I suppose this is a rom-com because it says on the promotional material. Don't hold your breath waiting to laugh anyway. It's a bit clichéd. Standard monster mother stealing the lines. Big chubby bears - that sort of thing. I'm not easily provoked to mirth but I just sat through this one.If you like this sort of storyline you would be better off with `9 Dead Gay Guys' - which is a real black comedy - or for a Spanish flavour `Chef's Special'. They have a solid plot and are quite funny. This film is fine if you're not too pushed about having a laugh.

Comedy adventure in the gay style. Unscrupulous real estate agent takes serious advantage of vulnerable people but has not reckoned on snoopy gay characters . The most painful part is when one of them shaves off his chest hair.I mean why would you do that ?Apart from that it was a highly enjoyable comedy romp.

Don't except too much, it's a silly comedy about a gay couple, a homophobe mother in law and a hot serial killer.we had a good laugh when we watched this.
